Who they are

Cat Lady is a guaranteed Visitor and the guest the rest of the weird routes depend on. The roster puts her in the living room on the fourth night of a month, arriving with the cat. Prophetic Man talks about her before that knock. The closet spot is shared with Nun, Suit Guy, or Fairytale Enjoyer. She does not kill the player for being let in. The value is the cat and the basement door that opens afterward.

The body is an unusual ballerina, which is the word the Death article and the endings notes reach for when they say Ballet Dancer. Extremely thin, stooped, green skin that looks stretched, a huge grin, bulging eyes, a black cropped tank, a red plaid skirt below the knee, white ankle socks. She holds an orange Persian cat too tightly. Teeth are perfect white, hands are scratched, iris and sclera are red. The character article leaves the human sign row empty. The cat's arrival is the interaction, not a test you pass.

She is playful in a mean way. She tells you she is a Visitor, will not answer straight, is not afraid of the gun, and enjoys calling the homeowner stupid. At the living-room door she laughs and shouts. That honesty is useful. You are not guessing. You are deciding whether the basement is worth a Visitor in the house.

Feeding the cat is the achievement Your Fluffy Master. Letting her in is also the prerequisite for Mushroom Eater and the Book of Smiles, and for the dig path toward Death. Shroom or Doom still lists the woman with the cat as a requirement. Shoot her only if you have already abandoned those routes.
