- First night
- Returns across the month, including nights 3, 9, and 12 on the Death route

Who they are
Prophetic Man is the bald visitor with the eye bags, the short beard, the yellow hoodie under a white jacket, dark pants, and a black backpack on the left shoulder. Every return he looks more wrecked. The character article is blunt about the rest: he acts nervous and sad, he claims you have met, and no past is documented. That absence is why this page stays with his route uses instead of inventing a biography.
On the Embrace The Inevitable path he is the clock. Night 3 is the divination that lines up with letting Cat Lady in on night 4. Night 9 sits next to the third basement dig that opens the tunnel. Night 12, when he is nearly gone, is when he talks about the hole the Miner finds. Those night numbers come from the Death route writeups, not from a guest-file firstNight, because he is not a roster guest.
He also brushes the mushroom week only as a fellow door figure. Mushroom Eater has the Book of Smiles. The Prophetic Man does not hand you those pages. If both are knocking in the same month, keep the quest items separate.
Nothing in the sources used here gives him a species row you can shoot your way through. Treat the advice as route text. Shooting him because the hoodie looks wrong is not a documented step on any ending in the site data.
Endings and achievements
No dedicated ending is tied to this entry in the roster. Survival endings still care whether a Visitor is alive in the house on day 14.
FAQ
Is the Prophetic Man human or a Visitor?
The sources used here do not give him a roster identity. He is a repeating story visitor, not one of the 57 guests.
What does the Prophetic Man tell you to do?
On the Death route he points at the cat guest, the basement digging, and finally the hole.
Does he have a documented past?
No. The character article says his behavior makes the past impossible to pin down.
Is he the Mushroom Eater?
No. Different face, different quest, different pages.
