What to do
Trust the photo, not the nails. He shares the office spot with FEMA Wife and will argue that the shadows are dust.

Also called Grave Digger.

Any night from Night 1 through Night 7, by the office coffee table.

Who they are

Gravedigger, also Grave Digger, is randomized, office, from night 1, sharing with FEMA Wife. Middle-aged or older, shoulder-length dark hair, a receding hairline, a dark cyan zip jacket, red pants that can read black under the lighting, barefoot. The article adds dark green eyes, crooked teeth, and a few gold teeth that are not all obvious on the sprite. He has been restless since a Visitor encounter at work and is afraid he might be one.

Visitor version: two people-shaped shadows behind him in the photograph. Human version: the photograph lacks those shadows. Dirty nails are expected from the job, and the human line says so. If you shoot him for the nails, you ignored the only stored contrast. If the shadows are there, the article says he will blame smoke or dust on the lens.

No ending. He is an early office option with a check that is entirely the camera. Take the photo before you debate him.

He is not the Death Cult Peons, who also have dirty hands and are guaranteed human.

Roster tells

Randomized. Dirty nails are the job.

Ignore the dirt under the nails. The photo is the check that matters: two human-shaped shadows behind his silhouette mean visitor, and a photo without those shadows means human. A line at the door about an empty grave is also listed as visitor-only. He will take FEMA Wife's spot if you let him in.

Visitor version

  • Two people-shaped shadows behind him in the photo. One guide also treats white teeth, and a door line about an empty grave, as visitor signs.

Human version

  • The photo has no people-shaped shadows. Crooked teeth, including a gold tooth, are his normal mouth.

False positives

  • Fingernails are always dirty because he digs graves. That TV clue is useless on him.

Room conflict: FEMA Wife, Stand Up Guy, and Punk Girl share the coffee-table floor. Inviting him replaces FEMA Wife.

Interaction: He bribes if refused. At the door, a visitor version talks about the grave he found empty.

Endings and achievements

No dedicated ending is tied to this entry in the roster. Survival endings still care whether a Visitor is alive in the house on day 14.
