Coat Guy in No I'm Not a Human: Human or Visitor?

Coat Guy is a guaranteed Visitor on the sofa from night 1. Cold is not the proof. After four days the stomach is a hole that kills the room.

What to do
He is a fixed Visitor. Do not treat the shiver, or the claim that he cannot sweat, as the test. Four days of talk open the stomach and kill everyone else in the room.

Also called Cold Person.

Any night from Night 1 through Night 7, middle of the sofa.

Who they are

Coat Guy is a guaranteed Visitor and one of the highest-traffic character searches for this game. He uses the middle of the living-room sofa. This roster's first-night field is 1, and the note says any night from night 1 through night 7. A fixed night-3 arrival belongs to the VHS demo, not this field.

He dresses for a winter that the sun outside has cancelled. Heavy brown coat, beige pants, green sweater, green scarf. Skin is a pale blue. The irises are solid black and read as catlike. Hair is short, black, and messy. You can hear him shiver at the living-room door. He says he has been cold his whole life, he stutters, and he dislikes low ceilings. Ask about showers and he dodges. He claims he cannot sweat, then, if you keep pushing, says the fungal growth is from sweating. The guest file is explicit that the temperature problem is not what makes him a visitor. Loneliness is the through-line of the talks, not a hidden human ending.

There is no human checklist to clear him with. He is fixed as a visitor, and the late reveal is the hole in his stomach. Four days of conversation open that hole and unlock Event Horizon. The reveal kills every other guest sharing the room, visitors included. Shoot him or throw him out afterward. Letting him in before that means you have chosen to house a Visitor. See the endings hub for which finales care about a Visitor still breathing on the last day.

Living-room space is crowded. Bar Guy, Cat Lady, Babushka, and the randomized sofa guests all compete for the same room on other nights. Coat Guy's value on a first playthrough is recognition. If the coat and the shiver are at the door on night 1, you already know the role before the peephole minigame starts.

Roster tells

Always a visitor. The heavy coat is not a disguise you can test away.

Do not hunt for a hidden human version. Coat Guy is always a visitor, and being freezing is not the proof. Keep him for four days and he opens the coat: the stomach is a black hole, and everyone else in the room dies. Shoot him or throw him out afterward.

Visitor version

  • No separate human checklist is published. He is fixed as a visitor, and the late reveal is the hole in his stomach.

False positives

  • He feels cold and says he cannot sweat. The developers have said that temperature problem is not what makes him a visitor.

Interaction: Four days of conversation open the stomach and unlock Event Horizon. The reveal kills every other guest sharing the room, visitors included.

Endings and achievements

No dedicated ending is tied to this entry in the roster. Survival endings still care whether a Visitor is alive in the house on day 14.

FAQ

Is Coat Guy a Visitor?

Yes. Guaranteed Visitor in the full-release identification list. His human sign row is not used.

When does Coat Guy arrive?

The sofa, from night 1, and the note allows any night from night 1 through night 7. A fixed night-3 demo arrival is a different build.

Can you prove Coat Guy is human?

No. He is fixed as a visitor. The cold, and the claim that he cannot sweat, are not the proof. The late reveal is the hole in his stomach.

Does Coat Guy have his own ending?

No dedicated ending spoke. A living Visitor still matters for finales that check the house on the last day.
